2012 Toyota Yaris Details Emerge

We have new updates on the 2012 Toyota Yaris coming to DCH Toyota of Oxnard. The next-gen Yaris will be available in both three-door and five-door variants, ranging in price from $14,115 to $17,200.

Yaris will be powered by a 1.5-liter engine, producing 106 horsepower and 103 lb-ft of torque. This engine can be paired with a new four-speed electronically controlled transmission, or a five-speed manual available on L and SE models.

Standard devices on all Toyota Yaris vehicles include power steering, power locks, six cup holders, storage cover for the cargo area, air conditioning, halogen headlights, and a "Cold Weather Package" in the base version.

But if you want more from your Yaris, there's some great options available from Toyota. Audio connectivity via USB and auxiliary ports, along with standard MP3/WMA player, will help you rock out on the way to work or class. In LE and SE versions, HD radio system with six speakers and Bluetooth are included. The LE comes with keyless entry, power windows and audio controls on the steering wheel.

With great entertainment options and a low starting MSRP, Toyota is right on target with the youth market it hopes to capture.
