Why should I bring my car in at 5,000 miles, 15,000 miles and 25,000 miles if there is no oil change?

Tire Rotation

Rotating tires, along with having the air pressure checked and adjusted as necessary, will make your ride smoother, handling safer and help extend the life of your tires, saving you time and money in the long run.

Rotating your tires at regular intervals allows the tires to serve in both front and rear positions which keeps them from wearing unevenly. The front tires tend to wear on the outside edge because the tire leans over when you turn. When tires wear unevenly, it can cause increased road noise and vibrations most commonly noticed in the steering wheel.

Since the wheels need to be removed to rotate the tires, this gives us the opportunity to inspect the undercarriage components and catch any issues with worn mechanical parts that could cause alignment problems.

Inspect Fluid Levels

Fluid levels can decrease over time, break down and become dirty as they are exposed to heat and friction. At some point, they can become so dirty that they are no longer effectively doing their job. Most vehicle fluids serve as lubrication for parts or regulate vehicle temperature. Having the fluids checked on a regular bases ensures they are at the proper levels and are not in need of a change. This can help provide you with a safe and reliable vehicle. Having to refill fluid reservoirs often, could indicate there is a leak somewhere in the system that can cause problems later.

Multi-Point Inspection

Having a multi-point inspection done to your vehicle on a regular basis can help find potential concerns before they turn into big issues. Parts like brake pads, tires, wiper blades, drive belts or air and fuel filters do not last forever and can cause serious problems if they fail. Catching these potential problems early can save you money on repairs. This also allows our customers a chance to budget for these repairs in the future.

IMPORTANT RECALL INFORMATION: Some of our pre-owned vehicles may be subject to unrepaired safety recalls. Check for a vehicle's unrepaired recalls at safercar.gov.
