It's like the old saying goes, "one person's trash is another one's treasure"; only in the Toyota Mirai's case, one person's trash is its fuel. Trash is compressed into hydrogen, hydrogen combines with oxygen and the two fuel the Toyota Mirai. As a result, the Toyota Mirai can travel up to 312 miles on a single fuel up and only emits water vapor in the process. The Toyota Mirai is the future of efficiency, so much so that it even has Doc and Marty McFly impressed.

2015 may not have brought us hoverboards, dehydrated pizza or flying cars, but it has brought us plenty opportunities to save on fuel and diminish our carbon footprint--and that in itself is remarkable. The latest Toyota Mirai is setting a new tone for eco-friendly automotive prospects, but it is only just now arriving into California. Here in Oxnard there is a possibility you may be able to get behind the wheel, only we at SCH Toyota of Oxnard don't have the Toyota Mirai available just yet. However, that doesn't mean you can't still get a taste for fuel efficiency; we currently have a number of new Toyota hybrids ready for a test drive.
