Expedition Yellowstone is a week-long summer program for middle-school-aged children. It gets kids out of the house, away from their computer screens, and into the backcountry to learn first-hand about ecosystems, and conservation.

In the South, and Midwestern United States, hybrid car sales account for less than 2 percent of the market. On the east coast, and a few scattered cities throughout the country, sales may account for as much as 4 percent of the market.

On May 10, Toyota announced a new five-year partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) -- one of the leading organizations in biodiversity research. Over the next five years, grants from Toyota will fund threat assessments for over 28,000 species.
