There are a lot of excellent choices in the Toyota model lineup but, today, we have to highlight the Toyota Corolla, especially since it's officially been around for 50 years! That's right; the Corolla has been around for a half-century and it's come a long way since its introduction in 1966. It's popularity rose quickly as, by 1970, it was already the #2 imported car in America. By 1983 there were 10 million Corolla models produced and, by 2005, that number shot up to 30 million!
